Usage responsibility
PortionMargin helps organize bakery order inputs, calculate quote
signals, and prepare customer-safe quote output. The baker remains
responsible for reviewing assumptions, totals, customer notes,
invoices, and quote output before using or sending them.
The app is calculation-focused software. It does not provide tax,
accounting, legal, regulated financial, health, safety, business
success, or guaranteed-profit advice.
Calculation boundary
Ingredient costs, labor time, packaging, utilities, delivery,
extras, overhead, margin targets, quote validity, and customer
notes come from user-entered assumptions and review.
Customer-safe output
Customer-facing quote text should keep reviewed price, order
context, validity, and selected notes visible without exposing
internal cost breakdowns, formulas, margin targets, or working
notes.
License posture
PortionMargin uses Apple's standard End User License Agreement for
App Store distribution. No custom PortionMargin EULA is provided
for launch.
User-authored customer documents
If PortionMargin supports invoices, quote notes, payment terms, or
other customer-facing document text, those fields are
user-authored. Users are responsible for adding and reviewing
their own invoice notes, payment terms, tax wording, legal text,
and customer policies.
No legal templates
PortionMargin does not provide legal templates,
jurisdiction-specific clauses, tax language, compliance wording,
payment-term recommendations, or invoice terms. The app should not
be used as a substitute for professional review.
Purchases and support
Purchase, refund, trial, and subscription details must match the
App Store listing and any implemented purchase flow. Use the
support page or [email protected] for current app-help
categories and data-boundary guidance.
No remote account service
PortionMargin does not currently provide accounts, cloud sync,
website forms, website analytics, runtime AI support, or a remote
app database. Public-site support and feedback use optional email
fallbacks.
